In 2009 GK introduced a new department – Contract Airtime. Initially distributing airtime, and performing end to end fulfilment into retailers, distance sellers and B2B dealers but always focusing on superior customer service levels and excelling at meeting client needs.

In March 2010 GK became the first brand new T Mobile distributor to be appointed in a number of years .

“It is a significant move as distribution decisions and contracts are not awarded lightly,” said John Fannon, T-Mobile’s national sales manager for independent partners. He added: “The Independent side of the business depends upon and is built upon relationships. These relationships are not established overnight but are built up over significant time periods by gaining trust and reputations for excellence. Without this essential ‘time-served’ aspect to a relationship, it is difficult to gain the trust of partners.”

It is the aim and objective of GK Telecom  to be a specialist distributor of mobile phones to a small number of dealers, all of whom have their own requirements and want a bespoke process for their business, be it fulfilment of a distance sale, fulfilment of a business sale including verification or supply of handsets for self-fulfilment.

It is not our aim to become the biggest distributor in the market place – we would like to remain true to our ethos and provide an impeccable service that is unrivalled rather than shout about how great we are. Alongside handsets GK also distributes broadband dongles (Pay as you go variants) for Three, T Mobile and O2, and on contract T Mobile and Orange.
