Use our simple online system to give you a price to buy back your customer’s old phone. Use the buy back price to incentivise your customer: offering vouchers for your store, part-exchange, an upgrade...or simply decide your own margin and pay them cash. It’s up to you what you offer your customer and what you keep for yourself.
GK Telecom organise regular pickups of old phones. All you do is log the handsets on our website. A monthly payment will be made to you on the last day of each month from GK Telecom.

Your Fonedrop Account
Dealers receive a user guide and access to their own Fonedrop account. This tells you which phones have been bought back, as well as the date accepted, price applied and their current status. (e.g. sent to GK, pending payment or payment received). You can create, modify and delete individual usernames and passwords for your staff members that will be linked in to your ‘superuser’ account (or we can do this for you).
How it Works
Log on to www.fonedropuk.com. Type in the model number of your customer’s old handset. Tell us if the handset is ‘working’ or ‘non-working’. ‘Working’ = it has a battery, powers up, the screen is intact and there is no serious damage to the exterior.
Once you have established this information you will be shown the buy-back price we will pay you. You can then choose whether to incentivise your customer, if at all.
Note: Battery to be included with all handsets.
What Happens Next
Once the customer has agreed to you
buying back the phone you will need to ask
them for the IMEI number. This will need
logging on the system.
Collection of Handsets from your Premises
GK Telecom will be notified when you have more than five handsets or when you have one or more handsets that have been at your premises for more than three weeks. We will arrange collection at this point. The phone will be returned to GK Telecom where they will be sorted and tested. This is a free service by GK Telecom.
Your Payment
All phones that have successfully been through the process will be paid to you in bulk on the last day of each month (max. 28 days). The amount shown on the system at time of buy back will be the amount you receive. No monies will be paid for handsets not returned.
Note: The difference in buy back price of non-working handsets incorrectly identified as working handsets will be deducted from your monthly pay.
